The name Birago, of Akan Ghanaian origin, means “Gift of God.” It is the founder’s middle name and the maiden name of her paternal grandmother, whose grace, strength, and creativity inspired the company’s vision and legacy.
Joyce Donkor, Founder and Executive Producer, is an accomplished marketing and experiential strategist with extensive experience in brand management, product launches, integrated marketing, customer engagement, and event strategy. With a strong foundation in customer storytelling and large scale program leadership for global organizations, she has led initiatives that connect brands and audiences in authentic and engaging ways.
Her diverse background across industries informs a distinctive approach to event marketing, design, and production. She combines strategic structure with creative vision to ensure every experience is intentional, cohesive, and impactful.

These signature productions celebrate cultural excellence while creating meaningful connections between brands and audiences.
